This is a bit more comfortable than the competition but it took a little weight penalty for it. However there’s more outsole on the Endorphin Pro, and it has a gusseted tongue and a bit more padding in the ankle collar, so there are tradeoffs. I can’t believe I am even complaining about a 7.6 ounce (215g) shoe, but: It’s lightweight, but it could be lighter. Lightweight, but there are lighter competitors I actually had this same feeling in last year’s test of the Endorphin Speed, the heel just feels a touch rounded off so it’s wobbly at slower speeds when you may be more prone to be on your heel. I bought them with the intention of making it my fall racing shoe, so we will see how I get along with it as I add more mileage leading up to me fall Half's and Houston Marathon.Your browser does not support the video tag. IMHO, the RC Elite almost doesn't feel like a racing shoe and I kind of like that. The upper feels much more secure in the RC Elite and that is a huge win for me.
ENDORPHIN PRO 2 PRO
The biggest downside with the Endorphin Pro was the upper, I never was able to get a lockdown that worked for me and I ended up with some blisters and shin pain in it. Personally, from my initial run, I prefer the RC for my longer workouts but don't think I'm going to enjoy it as much below half marathon pace, need to spend more time in the shoe to be sure. The RC Elite you don't really notice the plate and it rides very soft. To me, the Endorphin Pro is a much firmer and harsh shoe when compared to the RC Elite v2.

I have 160ish miles on my Pros but only about 7 Miles on my RC Elites, so take this with a minor grain of salt as I haven't had much time in the RCs yet. I have both, the RC Elite v2 and Endorphin Pro v1.
